Care Responsibilities

Your TMG IRIS consultant is your partner as you create a plan that meets your needs and stays within your IRIS budget. Your TMG IRIS consultant can connect you to resources in your area, and will be a great source of information for any questions you have about the IRIS program. In a self-directed program like IRIS, you decide who provides your support and services and when they happen. You may have natural support from people in your life, or you may choose to purchase the support you need from an agency or someone that you hire directly. Your TMG IRIS consultant will be there to talk through these decisions with you, and will help you put a plan in place that reflects your choices.

More about me

How do you Partner with people to 'clear the path ahead'?
When partnering with people to clear the path ahead, I like to get a full look at their life. I want to make sure that I know everything important there is to know about the people I partner with, so that there’s nothing they miss out on that available resources can cover. My favorite part about being with the TMG ICA is being able to help people discover all of the amazing things the program and their community can do for them, and utilize these resources to help the person reach their goals.

What's your favorite thing about being an IRIS consultant?
My favorite thing about being an IRIS Consultant is creating long-term partnerships with the individuals I partner with.

What past experience prepared you to become an IRIS Consultant?
My internship at the Aging and Disability Resource Center of Chippewa County as well as my education in Social Work at the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire has helped me prepare to become an IRIS Consultant.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
When I have free time I enjoy hiking, camping, and kayaking with my husband and our dog. I am originally from Illinois, and I fell in love with Wisconsin after spending time outdoors in this beautiful state, whether that be a short walk or a long camping trip.
