I provide options for people after gaining their trust and allowing them to discuss the goals for their life.
What's your favorite thing about being an IRIS consultant?
I enjoy helping people achieve what they want and facilitate the provision of services to allow people to stay in their homes.
What past experience prepared you to become an IRIS Consultant?
I have many past experiences that prepared me for this position. For example, being a formal advocate, working with the homeless population, learning from and working with people with physical and developmental disabilities and managing large caseloads efficiently and competently. Learning to actively listen to people has been one of the mosts helpful skills I have learned.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
In my free time, I like to exercise, camp, attend plays, volunteer and listen to the radio. I also like to spend time with my spouse and friends.
