More about me

How do you Partner with people to 'clear the path ahead'?
I partner with people to help them understand their important role as a self-advocate. I take extra time to get to know the people I work with and to learn about their goals for their lives. I help people by linking them to local resources in their communities. I ensure that the people understand the IRIS program and how it can best fit their long-term care needs.

What's your favorite thing about being an IRIS consultant?
My favorite thing about being a TMG IRIS Consultant is meeting new people and their families. We are all humans with the same basic needs. Learning more about each other builds that relationship that is needed in order to have a successful partnership.

What past experience prepared you to become an IRIS Consultant?
Through my experience at Greater Wisconsin Agency on Aging Resources (GWAAR), I have extensive community connections and a great working relationship with local Aging and Disability Resource Centers. I am able to connect people participating in the IRIS Program to the specific resources in their counties.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
I enjoy spending time with family, friends and my dogs, Copper and Bucky. I enjoy reading, playing piano, cooking/baking and trying to be crafty.
