Care Responsibilities
Your TMG IRIS consultant is your partner as you create a plan that meets your needs and stays within your IRIS budget. Your TMG IRIS consultant can connect you to resources in your area, and will be a great source of information for any questions you have about the IRIS program. In a self-directed program like IRIS, you decide who provides your support and services and when they happen. You may have natural support from people in your life, or you may choose to purchase the support you need from an agency or someone that you hire directly. Your TMG IRIS consultant will be there to talk through these decisions with you, and will help you put a plan in place that reflects your choices.

I started my career in healthcare as a direct care provider in Community Based Residential Facilities (CBRFs). I worked closely with individuals with varied physical, mental, and behavioral diagnoses and was eventually promoted to a Program Manager position. I also have experience working in Family Care, hospice, and skilled nursing/rehabilitation.

How do you Partner with people to 'clear the path ahead'?
I partner with people by serving as a guide and a resource to help them meet their goals/outcomes. I take the time to learn about the whole individual and build trust to provide the best assistance with making a plan for any possible barriers.
What's your favorite thing about being an IRIS consultant?
My favorite thing about being an IRIS Consultant is learning and celebrating everyone's unique strengths. I learn something new from every person I come into contact with.
What past experience prepared you to become an IRIS Consultant?
I have worked and lived in Walworth County for 10 years and have worked closely with a variety of local agencies, communities, and programs. I have built up a network of resources and feel comfortable assisting others with making those resources available for their needs. First I will learn about the person's unique strengths and partner with them to find the support they need.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family and spending as much time outside as possible when the weather is nice. I also like to travel to new places.
