How do you Partner with people to 'clear the path ahead'?
My family and I recently moved to the Madison area from southeast WI. I am excited to start my career as a TMG IRIS Consultant in Dane County. I look forward to learning more about the community and the supports that can help all individuals live an independent life.
What's your favorite thing about being an IRIS consultant?
I enjoy building relationships with all types of people. I believe I will have the opportunity to learn from you while also helping you make important decisions about what you need to live an independent life.
What past experience prepared you to become an IRIS Consultant?
For the past nine years I have worked with people who are aging and those who a disability by using patience, empathy and listening when determining eligibility for Medicaid benefits. I am able to take the time needed to give good explanations and make sure you understand the process in what can sometimes seem complicated and confusing. I am here to be your partner in making important decisions for your independence.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
In my free time I enjoy activities with my friends and family. I also like listening to live music, playing board games, and going to sporting events. For quieter activities I enjoy gardening and reading. My husband and I love to try new restaurants and exploring our new community.
