More about me
How do you Partner with people to 'clear the path ahead'?
Partnering means working with you and your goals and passions to help you make a plan to achieve all of your goals. First, I will get to know as much about you as I am able to learn. Then, we will communicate together to determine all the resources available to support your needs and goals.
What's your favorite thing about being an IRIS consultant?
I believe in helping people find self-directed supports that can help them live the life they choose. This means I strive to keep the people I partner with first at the forefront of all of my tasks. I also enjoy walking the path with you so that you’re not alone in your self-directed journey, and I celebrate your successes with you.
What past experience prepared you to become an IRIS Consultant?
My teaching education is important because it let me to a path that has brought me great joy. My previous experience as a case manager for individuals with disabilities has also given me real life experience with people who continue to expand my knowledge. I enjoy watching people learn and grow with each new step they take.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
I enjoy spending time with my family, being in the outdoors (mostly in the winter, spring, and fall), snuggling up on the couch watching Food Network, and getting lost in a good book!
