More about me

How do you Partner with people to 'clear the path ahead'?
I partner with people to find out what their goals are and how to get those goals met. Once we figure out what the needs are, we work together to get those needs met as efficiently as possible.

What's your favorite thing about being an IRIS consultant?
My favorite thing about being an IRIS Consultant is working directly with the individuals in IRIS. I enjoy getting to know people and their families. It's a pleasure to be a part of the self-direction process and help individuals both obtain and maintain their independence.

What past experience prepared you to become an IRIS Consultant?
I believe my experience working with a variety of people in numerous settings has helped prepare me to become an IRIS Consultant. I enjoy helping people and working with them to find solutions to their problems. I also have experience working in the field developing relationships with a variety of community agencies so I've been able to get to know many community resources and what they offer.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
In my free time, I enjoy doing things outdoors. I like to exercise, fish, go to the movies, read, and hang out with my family. When I have time, I love taking pictures and practicing my photography skills. I have three children and two dogs who are just as spoiled as the kids. If I could do one thing more often, it would be to travel. I spent a few weeks in Europe in June of 2015 and I would love to go back someday.
