More about me

How do you Partner with people to 'clear the path ahead'?
Partnering with people means that I'm working with them and not for them. Listening is an important factor in partnering with someone as this ensures that I'm clearly hearing what the needs are and can assist in finding solutions to those needs.

What's your favorite thing about being an IRIS consultant?
I enjoy meeting with people participating in the IRIS Program and hearing their stories. The individuals I partner with show, me through their stories, that there is a lot more to them than their disabilities and that they want to be seen just as any other person is.

What past experience prepared you to become an IRIS Consultant?
My education and work experiences have prepared me to be an IRIS Consultant. I have worked for over 20 years with people with varying disabilities and that has also prepared me to be an IRIS Consultant.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
In my free time, I like to cook, read, watch t.v., go to movies, and play video games. I have a family and a dog and I spend a lot of time with them as well.
