More about me

How do you Partner with people to 'clear the path ahead'?
The first step in partnering is to get to know and trust each other. Only then will the person IÆm partnering with feel safe to share not only the goals others think they should have, but the goals they have for themselves. After listening and understanding the individualÆs goals, my experience and training can be used to help identify the services or supports available and ways to best utilize the IRIS budget to obtain the most benefit.

What's your favorite thing about being an IRIS consultant?
What I enjoy most about being an IRIS Consultant is meeting and working with new people, all of them, with their own unique histories and hopes to build for themselves a better future.

What past experience prepared you to become an IRIS Consultant?
I have always worked at jobs requiring contact with the public and to this day am surprised and impressed by the multitudes of methods people find to meet the challenges in their lives.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
I enjoy many outside activities including hunting, fishing, gardening, dog training, and hiking. I've taken up raising chickens in the last year with much encouragement from my wife and daughter. I like to read anything and everything I can. I enjoy woodworking and building specialty items in my garage.
