How do you Partner with people to 'clear the path ahead'?
I enjoy working with individuals I partner with and their families to assist with setting up the supports needed that allows the individual to overcome barriers and achieve their goals.

What's your favorite thing about being an IRIS consultant?
My favorite thing about being an IRIS Consultant is partnering with individuals and helping them achieve their goals and overcome challenge along the way.

What past experience prepared you to become an IRIS Consultant?
I started my career working as a Certified Nursing Assistant which allowed me to continue working as I moved to pursue my educational goals. I have worked in various care settings including skilled nursing facilities, a convent for retired nuns, home care, and an RCAC (Residential Care Apartment Complex). I have a MasterÆs Degree in Social Work as well as a graduate certificate in applied gerontology. My internship experiences include the AlzheimerÆs Association and Ministry Hospice. I also have spent three years working with rehab patients transitioning from a skilled nursing facility to home, typically after recovering from an illness or surgery.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
I enjoy spending time at my family cabin on the lake and sitting around a camp fire with friends and family. During football season I like to cheer on the Packers and Badgers. I also like to read a good book and spend time looking at recipes on the internet.
