More about me

How do you Partner with people to 'clear the path ahead'?
I can help people look at where they are now and what steps are needed to get where they want to go. This may include helping people to realize that it may seem like they are stuck and unable to move forward, but as long as they keep looking forward and taking even small steps they are progressing towards goals.

What's your favorite thing about being an IRIS consultant?
My favorite thing about being an IRIS consultant is working with people and what their specific situation is. No two people are the same, so being able to meet people where they are and partner with them to work on what their goals are is very important.

What past experience prepared you to become an IRIS Consultant?
I have many years of working with people through Case Management. I have run a Day Service program, been a case manager, worked in a pre-vocational services setting, worked with area high schools for transitioning students, and learned some information on how DVR works. I feel that working with people in any capacity helps you to look at people as individuals who are trying to get their needs met and learning how each person communicates those needs.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
In my free time I enjoy reading, spending time with my family, and many activities with my Church.
