More about me

How do you Partner with people to 'clear the path ahead'?
My style of partnering with people would be considered flexible and laid-back. I believe getting to know a person and building a trusting & knowledgeable rapport is the best way to partner. I believe mutual respect is key and I enjoy getting to know each personsÆ special talents by listening and learning about individual life experiences. I don't admit to knowing everything, but will look into things/questions and follow-up as necessary.

What's your favorite thing about being an IRIS consultant?
I enjoy many things about being an IRIS Consultant. One of my favorite things is meeting and getting to know new and different people. I enjoy learning and conversing about family, current events, special talents and other interests. I enjoy having the ability to be flexible and meet individual needs. I have been able to connect with some very smart and interesting people within IRIS/TMG and I always find that energizing.

What past experience prepared you to become an IRIS Consultant?
Many of my life experiences have prepared me to be an IRIS Consultant. I am a very open and non-judgmental individual that has worked with people of differing abilities, styles, histories and backgrounds for over 30 years. I always try to remember to treat people with respect, the way I wish to be treated by others. If you put yourself in the shoes of the people you work with, you can provide more sensitive, quality support. I know a great deal about the service delivery systems within the Milwaukee and Waukesha areas and how to advocate for others. I am a strong advocate that is driven to help everyone be treated fairly and with dignity.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
I am game for just about anything during my free time. I really love being with my family and I enjoy watching my family have fun and enjoy life. I enjoy festivals, concerts, crafts, sporting events, parks and like to relax with a good book or program on TV. I just enjoy being happy, organized and positive.
