More about me
How do you Partner with people to 'clear the path ahead'?
Partnering means learning about you and your goals, then making an action plan you feel comfortable with to achieve them. First, I work with you to identify services or supports available now. This will help to stretch your IRIS budget and keep the resources you need to get the care and support necessary to realize those important goals.
What's your favorite thing about being an IRIS consultant?
I like working at TMG because I am a big believer in self-direction and I enjoy helping others choose their path and stay independent.
What past experience prepared you to become an IRIS Consultant?
My education was very important, but “real life” experience has been even more powerful for me. As a volunteer (social worker) for a Russian speaking community, I learned the importance of asking questions and really listening. Sometimes, it’s hard for people to put into words what they really want, because they're not used to being asked. I truly enjoy the conversations that lead to solving problems and learning together.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
In my free time, I like to spend time with my family, do yoga with my daughter and travel.
