More about me
How do you Partner with people to 'clear the path ahead'?
I am a dedicated social service professional that possesses a relentless passion for empowering individuals to recognize and utilize their strengths. I will get to know you as a person and treat you with dignity and respect. I will also support you throughout your journey of self-direction so that you’ll be able to identify the services and supports that will help you in achieving your goals.
What's your favorite thing about being an IRIS consultant?
Being an IRIS Consultant does not mean that I know what is best for you, nor does it mean that I will direct and control what your life looks like. With that being said, my favorite thing about being an IRIS Consultant is being able to walk alongside you throughout your journey of living a self-determined life.
What past experience prepared you to become an IRIS Consultant?
I have been working in the social service field since 2007. Throughout this time, I have been able to serve and support diverse populations of people. My direct field experience consists of serving adults with intellectual and/or physical disabilities, mental health diagnoses, people who are aging, individuals/families in poverty, and concerns with Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA). Prior to coming to TMG, I served individuals enrolled in the CIP-II/COP waivers program in Shawano County and I also worked with Individuals enrolled in the Family Care program in Portage County. I have extensive experience in serving and supporting differently abled individuals from all walks of life.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
In my free time, I enjoy being in the outdoors! I am on a fishing league and I go fishing as much as possible. I am also an animal lover! I have two dogs and three cats, and I love to spend time with my furry companions by going for walks and bringing them to the dog park. I also love to spend time with my family and friends. I am always open to new thrills and adventure.
