I try to be down to earth with people I am working with and use humor to make people feel comfortable with sometimes difficult decisions.

What's your favorite thing about being an IRIS consultant?
I truly enjoy working with people and being able to help people enrich their lives within them self, their family members, and community.

What past experience prepared you to become an IRIS Consultant?
Past employment as a Vocational Counselor for individuals with disabilities and as a Disability Benefits Specialist. Working for the Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC) allowed me to work with people with a disability as well as older adults in the community.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
I enjoy most outdoor activities. Examples are hiking and looking for agates with my family. Hunting, fishing, gardening, cutting wood.
