I enjoy interacting with people. This job gives me the opportunity to interact with individuals of all ages and cultures right in my community. I also enjoy collaborating and learning from my colleagues. I enjoy learning about people, their lives, and their experiences.

What past experience prepared you to become an IRIS Consultant?
I began working with people who are older adults or have disabilities when I was in high school. I later got my degree in Vocational Rehabilitation and continued to support people in my community. I have worked as a nursing assistant, an in-home supportive and personal care giver, and a social work care manager. I have worked in these capacities for over 20 years.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
I am very close with my family and I am happy they live close by. My son is 7 years old and I love being a mom. I enjoy being active and spending time outside all year round. Interacting with nature is important to me and I try to live a healthy lifestyle. I also love to relax and enjoy a cup of coffee, or go out shopping for a great deal.
