More About Me

How do you Partner with people to 'clear the path ahead'?
The IRIS program is based on self-direction, which means that ultimately your IRIS plan should be created to meet your individual needs. Partnering to me means listening to what your goals are and how you want to achieve them. The sky is the limit when it comes to achieving what you want so please don't hesitate to express yourself. I am here to support you and your dreams to live a self-directed life.

What's your favorite thing about being an IRIS consultant?
Being a TMG IRIS Consultant means that I get to be part of a team that encourages and works with individuals to self-direct and takes control of their lives in a meaningful and positive manner. My favorite part of being an IRIS Consultant is having the opportunity to partner with others and being able to expand my cultural horizons.

What past experience prepared you to become an IRIS Consultant?
My professional experiences of working with people who are aging and those who have developmental disabilities have greatly shaped and influenced how I see the world, and has given me quite a bit of knowledge about how to how to best meet the needs of the people I partner with. In addition, my own personal experiences of working with my medical fragile son has given me a greater understanding of the personal, professional, and financial realities that many people face daily. I have the unique perspective of being on both sides, as the worker and the parent.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
I'm an avid crafter! I enjoy crocheting, drawing, and sewing in my free time. In addition I enjoy spending time in Door County during the summer months with my husband and children or traveling in our camper around the beautiful state of Wisconsin. I'm a huge animal lover who is owned by three cats that are my constant companions and work from home co-workers.
