More about me

How do you Partner with people to 'clear the path ahead'?
As your TMG IRIS Consultant, it’s my job to be supportive of you, and to provide you with pertinent information that will help you along your journey. It is my goal that the people I partner with understand all the options that available to them, and that they are comfortable expressing their wants and needs to me. The ideal partnership is making sure you feel comfortable making informed decisions about your own care.

What's your favorite thing about being an IRIS consultant?
I like the idea that in the IRIS program, people are in charge of choosing their long-term care. It is important to me that everyone have self-direction and autonomy for as long as possible. I enjoy helping the people I partner with achieve this.

What past experience prepared you to become an IRIS Consultant?
I have spent most of my professional career acting as a support for individuals who have barriers in their life. As the manager of a group home and as a certified nursing assistant, I have provided care to a wide range of people. I have also worked at the Wisconsin Center for Independent Living, where I learned both new skills as well as the different resources in our community that can help people live their best life.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
In my free time I enjoy listening to music as well as expanding my skills on various instruments. I also spend a lot of time with my golden retriever. We enjoy exploring the trails around the La Crosse area.
