How do you Partner with people to 'clear the path ahead'?
I believe in empowering others to be as independent as possible by looking at ability, not disability. What's your favorite thing about being an IRIS consultant?
I love meeting new people and learning from them. I do have a job to do to, but I like to know what I do helps others, even it is just to make them smile.

What past experience prepared you to become an IRIS Consultant?
I like to think my history of growing up in an environment that was open to learning and being fair and kind to others helped shape my path for working with others in the community and in providing compassion for others. I believe that this lead me to my path of education and career choices. I also still love to learn and explore how I can better myself, others, and my community.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
I am an avid reader and enjoy all kinds of topics. There is nothing I love better than a good book and a cup of tea. I also love to be creative and work on arts and crafts. I love spending time with my stepson and family in addition to spending time with my dog and cats. I am a nature lover and collect frogs. In addition, my family and I love hockey.
