Prior to coming to TMG, I worked in Milwaukee and have twenty years of experience with Birth-to-Three programs, schools and individualized education programs (IEPs), community engagement, advocacy, respite care, family programming, outreach, foster parent education and medically fragile infants and children. I have served on the Down Syndrome Association of Wisconsin’s (DSAW) board for the past ten years. I love working with people and families and helping reach their goals.

How do you Partner with people to 'clear the path ahead'?
I partner with people to clear the path ahead by listening to them and hearing what their goals and desired outcomes are for the future. I enjoy getting to know people and identifying resources to help individuals reach their full potential.
What's your favorite thing about being an IRIS consultant?
My favorite thing about being a TMG IRIS Consultant is working alongside the people I partner with. I like that the program is self-directed, with people getting to choose their own goals and have partners working with them to help them achieve their desired future. Individuals participating in IRIS have the freedom to implement the supports that will help them reach their outcomes, which can be things like finding housing, community integration and/or employment.
What past experience prepared you to become an IRIS Consultant?
My experience working with families with children who are newborns through adolescents has prepared me to become a TMG IRIS Consultant. I fully embrace what the continuity of care looks like from the adult perspective, and work with you to help you navigate this stage of your life and beyond.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
In my free time I enjoy being with family and friends, tailgating and cheering on the Brewers and Packers. I also spend as much time as possible with our two yellow labs.
