More about me

How do you Partner with people to 'clear the path ahead'?
I listen to the person and ask questions to learn what they consider to be the most important and meaningful things in their life. I then help the person define for themselves their individual goals by exploring their hopes and dreams. We will work together to strategize ways to meet those goals. We will focus first on what the person's strengths are and then I will assist the person in identifying connections and resources for any needed additional support in meeting their goals.

What's your favorite thing about being an IRIS consultant?
My favorite thing about being a TMG IRIS Consultant is the opportunity to help people find connections and experiences that are meaningful in their lives. My desire is to see people thrive!

What past experience prepared you to become an IRIS Consultant?
I have had the privilege to serve in several different areas of self-directed services, where I advocated for full inclusion of people with disabilities. I have assisted people with meeting their employment and volunteer goals while helping them be safe in the community utilizing a team-based approach.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
I enjoy natural spaces, gardening, learning to cook new foods, study groups, church, family time, movies, music, volunteering, and my dogs.
