More about me

How do you Partner with people to 'clear the path ahead'?
To partner with a person I first take the time to truly listen so I can understand their desires, goals, passions and concerns. Then I work with them to identify what services and supports are available so they can accomplish their goals and have a meaningful life.

What's your favorite thing about being an IRIS consultant?
I love getting to know every person well and working with them to achieve meaningful goals. I enjoy helping others and seeing them succeed.

What past experience prepared you to become an IRIS Consultant?
For four years, I helped care for a friend with quadriplegia; everything from personal cares to social outings. This experience reiterated to me the importance of treating everyone with dignity and respect - no matter their ability or circumstance.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
In my free time, I enjoy reading a wide variety of books. I also love animals, particularly dogs. I enjoy walking my dogs and taking them to the dog park. I also enjoy a good thunderstorm and snow storm!
