How do you Partner with people to 'clear the path ahead'?
Partnering means learning where you are now and where you want to be in the future. From there we explore options and supports with your IRIS budget to help to complete your needs both at home and in the community.
What's your favorite thing about being an IRIS consultant?
Helping and advising people is one of many things I enjoy doing. Seeing people achieve their goals as simple or as long term as they might be, is what makes an IRIS Consultant and the individual in the IRIS program a team. Communication is the key to a healthy team.
What past experience prepared you to become an IRIS Consultant?
I have always been in a place of support and care. I have worked at a summer camp for kids, ran a CBRF for adults, been a Case Manager and supervised a day program for adults. I enjoy working for people and working as a team to achieve goals. IRIS consulting does just that with people.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
I enjoy working out at the gym, biking and running. I am a triathlete. I love exploring parks, trail hiking and camping whenever I can. I love different cultures and am currently learning the Spanish language.
