More about me

How do you Partner with people to 'clear the path ahead'?
Partnering requires us to work together, to ensure you as the participant are receiving all of the services necessary for your care. By identifying the services needed and supports available, we can create a plan of action to ensure your needs are met.

What's your favorite thing about being an IRIS consultant?
I feel the best part about being a TMG IRIS Consultant is helping others remain independent to the greatest extent possible. It is incredibly fulfilling to be able to aid others as they work towards their goals, and to know that the work we do together is making a difference.

What past experience prepared you to become an IRIS Consultant?
My coursework has provided me with the most experience, and it has taught me which tools are available to help you reach your goals. For instance, the top two skills that are taught in the counseling program are active listening and asking the right questions. This is an incredibly beneficial skill, as I am able to gather a clear picture of the needs of each participant. From there, we can get you on the path to living the life you choose to live.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
In my free time I enjoy all things craft related, specifically knitting and crocheting, as well as reading. In addition, I am an avid gardener and I have a large collection of house plants that I enjoy caring for. I also have a cat named Bean and a dog named Bo, that require the utmost attention.
