More about me

How do you Partner with people to 'clear the path ahead'?
To clear the path ahead, it’s important to first get to know the individual I’m partnering with and understand their goals. Furthermore, it is important to understand any services or supports that are available to them. Once that has been established, a plan can be developed to help define and reach that individual's goals.

What's your favorite thing about being an IRIS consultant?
I love to help others reach their goals by empowering them to make the choices they want for themselves, while providing resources and information to ensure they are successful. I want to help those I work with live a fulfilling life.

What past experience prepared you to become an IRIS Consultant?
My undergraduate degree in healthcare administration helped prepare me for the healthcare field, and specifically for working in facilities. However, I have expanded on that knowledge by 4.5 years of on-the-job experience. I have worked with many individuals and their support systems to understand how we could serve them in the best way possible. It has always been important for me to understand an individual on a personal level so I can ensure I am giving them the support they need.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
In my free time, I love to spend time with my family. We enjoy spending time outside and love getting the whole family together for a fun day of activities. I also love to read and often finish a book within a day or two of starting it. Recently, I have enjoyed baking more and experiment with a lot of allergy-friendly recipes.
