More about me

How do you Partner with people to 'clear the path ahead'?
Partnering with people in order to "clear the path ahead" means that I listen to your story in order to understand who you are, what is important to you, what you need and what your goals are. I truly believe that the only expert about your life is you. Partnership means that we are a team working for a common goal. Therefore, we both have responsibilities in meeting that goal. Also, in a partnership it is both of our responsibility to ask questions that will help us generate strategies to successfully meet goals.

What's your favorite thing about being an IRIS consultant?
Seeing someone meet his/her goals successfully is my favorite thing about being an IRIS Consultant. Everyone wants to determine his/her quality of life and it is great when you can support someone in achieving this.

What past experience prepared you to become an IRIS Consultant?
While my educational background provided me with the theories of helping others, my professional experience as an Employment Assistance Counselor, as an Instructor and as an Employment Specialist provided me with the real experience of working with people.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
Most of my free time is spent teaching myself how to make jewelry.
