Prior to coming to TMG, I worked for child welfare as a case manager for a little over a year. I have also worked for Wraparound Milwaukee as a care coordinator and a crisis worker for two years. Within those positions, I worked with family and youth, providing them services to help them make safe changes within their homes. I also worked with youth who were transitioning into adulthood. This included providing them with resources for adult programming, as well as helping with housing, insurance, employment, vocational or secondary school, and continued mental health services.

How do you Partner with people to 'clear the path ahead'?
I take the opportunity of partnering with you to get to know who you are as a person and your goals so that we can create an effective plan that meets your needs and reach your goals. I go over the active services and/or supports that you currently have, because this will help us figure out the best use of your IRIS budget.

What's your favorite thing about being an IRIS consultant?
You are in full control of how you want things to be planned out. With IRIS, you are able to be self-direct your life and determine what's most important to you and how you will achieve your goals.

What past experience prepared you to become an IRIS Consultant?
My education is very important, but my work experience plays a major role in preparing me for my role as a TMG IRIS Consultant. As a case manager/care coordinator, I've learned how to help people realize that they have full control of making things better for themselves. I’m able to help people realize the supports and resources that they have right in their communities that they either aren’t currently utilizing, or didn’t realize was a resource and or support.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
I enjoy spending time with my family and creating endless moments. I also enjoy traveling and seeing different parts of the country.
