How do you Partner with people to 'clear the path ahead'?
I work with people to meet them where they are in order to understand the most important needs and priorities. Through educating clients about the services available, we can partner together to utilize funds and manage the monthly budget. Ultimately, we can work towards your goals of maintaining independence.
What's your favorite thing about being an IRIS consultant?
I love building relationships with people and providing support and education for their benefit. It's rewarding to witness people grow and build confidence through reaching their personal goals. IRIS is a wonderful program and I'm honored to be part of it here in SE Wisconsin.
What past experience prepared you to become an IRIS Consultant?
I have experience working in Assisted Living Facilities and Memory Care communities as a liaison to residents and their families. In addition, I've experienced several friends participate in the program with great success stories. My career in healthcare/pharmaceutical industry provided extensive training on disease management and treatment options.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
I love spending time outdoors hiking our beautiful parks and lakes in Wisconsin. I'm a homeowner, so I enjoy remodeling projects. I have a cat named Grizzy and enjoy spending time with him when home. I also enjoy live music with friends, especially during our beautiful summers.
