More about me

How do you Partner with people to 'clear the path ahead'?
To clear the path ahead I must first learn about you and how you see your life; I need to learn about your goals and aspirations. From there, I will help you find a way to begin working towards reaching those goals. I will partner with you to find services available to you in your area that can be added to your IRIS plan and get you on track for reaching your goals.

What's your favorite thing about being an IRIS consultant?
My favorite part of being an IRIS Consultant is being given the opportunity to meet so many amazing people and to watch them reach goals they thought were unobtainable. So many believe their goals are not obtainable, but they are given the opportunity to fulfill them simply by adding supports and services.

What past experience prepared you to become an IRIS Consultant?
Working with individuals with visual impairments helped me to learn that with the right supports, things that people themselves believed were not possible, could be made possible; I enjoyed being a part of this realization. Those experiences also helped me to look at the bigger picture and not look at immediate challenges as barriers. If a person wants something enough, it is very often obtainable.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
I am a mother of toddlers, so my husband and I spend all of our free time taking care of them. My family is very important to me and I thoroughly enjoy being a mother. As a family, we enjoy doing things outside as much as possible. We have horses, and we all enjoy spending time with them as they are part of the family as well. We often go on local trail rides or take them on camping trips to explore new trails.
