More about me

How do you Partner with people to 'clear the path ahead'?
I empower people to self-direct and be an active listener to their needs. It is important to make people feel empowered while achieving their goals. I have found this to be the best path to relationship building because it builds trust.

What's your favorite thing about being an IRIS consultant?
I enjoy being an IRIS consultant because I like listening to people’s needs and helping to address those needs. I love encouraging people to self-direct because I think it is important to allow people to set their own professional tone as it empowers them to achieve their goals.

What past experience prepared you to become an IRIS Consultant?
The experiences that prepared me to be an IRIS Consultant helped me be a professional and active listener, empathetic and passionate about helping others. Additionally, I have gained skills in case management, communication, motivational interviewing, knowledge of community resources, working in diverse populations, flexibility, multi-tasking and time management.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling and winding down with a good suspense movie. Additionally, I enjoy volunteering for Point in Time, a Milwaukee County program that allows me to work in outreach while assisting the homeless. I also volunteer yearly at Project Homeless Connect, a resource fair for the homeless.
