Care Responsibilities
Your TMG IRIS consultant is your partner as you create a plan that meets your needs and stays within your IRIS budget. Your TMG IRIS consultant can connect you to resources in your area, and will be a great source of information for any questions you have about the IRIS program. In a self-directed program like IRIS, you decide who provides your support and services and when they happen. You may have natural support from people in your life, or you may choose to purchase the support you need from an agency or someone that you hire directly. Your TMG IRIS consultant will be there to talk through these decisions with you, and will help you put a plan in place that reflects your choices.

Prior to coming to TMG, I worked with WIOA Youth Program (DWFS) for 1 year and with the Youth 16-24 out of school students and who have complete their HSD. I also worked for DWFS as a W-2 Case Manager. I have extensive experience with helping people with employment, helping with their goals, job development, house visits , resume building, community resources, screening, maintaining a daily schedule, skill training, mentoring, daily living skills and have a background of CARES.

How do you Partner with people to 'clear the path ahead'?
I like to partner with people by first discussing the barriers they currently face and the ways we can get around them. I work hard to find programs that will assist them in reaching their goals.
What's your favorite thing about being an IRIS consultant?
My favorite part about being a TMG IRIS Consultant is learning about people's goals and plans, and working with each individual to find ways to accomplish them.
What past experience prepared you to become an IRIS Consultant?
I am very familiar with how to assist people in navigating the Medicaid system. My experience in other areas of Human Services has allowed me to assist people with many aspects of their life to create a comprehensive plan to address their needs. I also have experience on a personal level, with family members, who utilized the long-term care system.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
In my free time, I enjoy traveling with my husband and kids – we love going to the Dells and Disney Word!
