More about me
How do you Partner with people to 'clear the path ahead'?
I will partner with you to learn more about you and your goals and help create a plan you feel comfortable with to achieve those goals. We will work together to identify supports and services available to get the care and support necessary to realize those important goals.
What's your favorite thing about being an IRIS consultant?
My favorite part about being an IRIS Consultant is helping someone overcome obstacles and barriers and reaching a goal they might not have believed they could achieve. Ultimately, I enjoy helping people reach their goals. Self-directed care is important to me as it allows the person using services to be in control of the things around them while creating a sense of independence and empowerment.
What past experience prepared you to become an IRIS Consultant?
Prior to coming to TMG, I worked as a Direct Support Professional and Home Coordinator for two years, allowing me the opportunity to work with adults with developmental disabilities in a community and group home setting. This direct experience has been important to me and helped prepare me to truly understand the role of a caregiver. My prior experiences have also helped me learn the value of community and the important role it plays as a support.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
I enjoy playing rugby, I played for three years at UW-Whitewater and two years for a womenÆs team in Oconomowoc. I love animals, especially dogs, and love spending time at the dog park. Summer time is my favorite time of year, I enjoy camping, boating, grilling out, and spending time with friends and family.
