How do you Partner with people to 'clear the path ahead'?
I love partnering with individuals hearing their stories and helping them find services to make their life better and more complete. I enjoying getting to know the individuals I work with and helping them to get services to stay in their home and maintain their dignity and independence.
What's your favorite thing about being an IRIS consultant?
I enjoy hearing stories and working with individuals to make their life complete and safer. I enjoy watching the individuals achieve dreams and see them happy in their environment.
What past experience prepared you to become an IRIS Consultant?
I have worked 13 years with individuals with both physical and developmental disabilities achieve their dreams and regain independence. I have personal experience with stroke survivors and older adults retain their independence and get technology/services in the home to assist with tasks.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
I like to cook decorate and spend time relaxing in my home. I like to be involved in the community and take my elderly mom on outings to brighten her day. I like sporting events particularly the packers and old sappy movies. My two adult children bring me joy with their many activities.
