Ohio, July 12, 2024 –  Employee volunteers from Molina Healthcare of Ohio spent a weekend packing meals for Columbus-area seniors and their pets. Fifteen team members spent two days preparing and packaging meal and snack boxes to be delivered to the homes of local seniors. The volunteerism supported the work of LifeCare Alliance, a nonprofit providing health and nutrition services to residents of central Ohio.

“Molina Healthcare of Ohio is committed to providing members the high-quality health care they deserve, and we are proud to assist community organizations like LifeCare Alliance in meeting the needs of seniors,” said Myrissa Ferguson, manager of growth and community engagement for Molina Healthcare of Ohio. “It’s rewarding to lend a hand to LifeCare Alliance knowing we share its mission in helping seniors live healthy, productive lives.”

“We appreciate Molina volunteers giving their time to support people facing challenges by helping with projects that provide services to restore stability, hope and independence.” Stephanie Sparrow Hughes, corporate and community engagement manager for LifeCare Alliance.
