I have also been a certified nursing assistant (CNA), and have certification in Equine Facilitated Growth and Learning for people. This combination gives me a great understanding of the various needs that others may have.

How do you Partner with people to 'clear the path ahead'?
I try to encourage each person to make individual decisions that work best for them. I also listen with an open, respectful ear and try to give valuable information that empowers good choices.
What's your favorite thing about being an IRIS consultant?
My favorite part of being a TMG IRIS Consultant is working with others to ensure their needs are met while considering their personal preferences. I encourage others to be as independent as possible by thinking through options and seeking information.
What past experience prepared you to become an IRIS Consultant?
I have many years of experience working with others through coaching and instruction to help them meet their personal goals. I've been a social worker through a county community outreach program, a certified nursing assistant (CNA), working with people with physical and/or intellectual/developmental disabilities, those who are aging, and those dealing with mental health issues. I have also worked as a support in the Medicaid Family Care program. This experience has prepared me to be a knowledgeable and passionate TMG IRIS Consultant. I look forward to getting to know you and working together to help you reach your goals.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my family and horses, gardening and interior decorating.
