Prior to coming to TMG, I worked as an Area Director for an AFH/independent care provider. This experience has afforded me the knowledge and skills to partner with elder adults and adults with disabilities. During this time, I also gained the knowledge for Remote Support Services, that can allow adults needing supports to remain at home for a longer time.

How do you Partner with people to 'clear the path ahead'?
I partner with people by getting to know you. Listening carefully to what you feel your needs/wants are and what goals you want to achieve. Then building an action plan to support your goals, while maintaining your IRIS budget. I will work with you to help you revive the resources and support you need to achieve your goals.
What's your favorite thing about being an IRIS consultant?
Empowering people, through self-directed care, to live their best life; despite the obstacles laid before them. Nothing is more rewarding than celebrating an accomplished goal.
What past experience prepared you to become an IRIS Consultant?
Working in the field for several years in Adult Family Homes, from a Direct Support Professional to an Area Director, has provided me the knowledge to ask questions, listen carefully, and to advocate for the elderly and vulnerable populations.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
I enjoy creating crafts, gardening, fishing, traveling, spending time with family, and relaxing with my dogs. Sometimes, I will bake some cookies or other treats and share them on my adventures.
