How do you Partner with people to 'clear the path ahead'?
Partnering with people means helping them to overcome their fear, pushing their limits, and coming out the other side knowing that they are capable of accomplishing something that they have worked hard to accomplish. I want them to be able to have an incredible feeling knowing that they accomplished it.
What's your favorite thing about being an IRIS consultant?
Supporting people with disability to achieve their goals by developing skills and abilities. Promote clients independence and growth, consistent with their service plan. I enjoy working alongside the client, their family, and their supports.
What past experience prepared you to become an IRIS Consultant?
The past experience that prepared me the most for this job, is having a disable child. I love the care that she received from her IRIS Consultant, and I want to be able to help someone else have the same great experience that she had.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
I enjoy reading, watching movies and spending time with my grandchildren.
