Prior to coming to TMG, I worked for multiple assisted living facilities, which have given extensive experience helping people utilize adaptive equipment. My work with the FoodShare Employment and Training (FSET) program has given me the knowledge to identify barriers that people may face. I know how to help you find the resources you need to overcome the barriers you may be facing so that you can live your best life.

How do you Partner with people to 'clear the path ahead'?
Partnering means learning about you and your goals, then making an action plan you feel comfortable with to achieve them. First, I work with you to identify the services or supports available to you now. This will help to stretch your IRIS budget and keep the resources you need to get the care and support necessary to realize those important goals.
What's your favorite thing about being an IRIS consultant?
I’m a big believer in self-directed care, because it’s the path I would choose for myself, and it keeps the person using those services in control of the things happening around them. My biggest joys are when they achieve something that they’ve worked hard at or wanted for a long time.
What past experience prepared you to become an IRIS Consultant?
My education and job experience has given me a better knowledge and understanding of different groups of people. It has confirmed my belief that everyone should have the same opportunities and choices, regardless of age, race or ability. I am a big believer in helping those that cannot help themselves so they are able to live a rewarding and fulfilling life.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
I enjoy taking walks with my dog and spending time with my family and friends. I am also a movie goer, so I often see new releases of the movies I am interested in.
