More About Me

How do you Partner with people to 'clear the path ahead'?
Collaboration involves understanding your aspirations and objectives, followed by devising a customized strategy that aligns with your preferences, all aimed at accomplishing those goals. Initially, I collaborate with you to pinpoint the existing array of services and assistance. This process aids in optimizing your IRIS budget and retaining the essential resources required to access the vital care and support essential to attaining those significant milestones.

What's your favorite thing about being an IRIS consultant?
I am a firm supporter of self-directed care, as it corresponds with the decisions I personally would opt for, and it grants individuals utilizing services the authority to uphold command over their situations. Assisting individuals in optimizing their life encounters generates a feeling of satisfaction and happiness. The instances that provide me with the most joy are when they achieve their dedicated endeavors or acquire something they’ve yearned for extremely.

What past experience prepared you to become an IRIS Consultant?
While my education is very important to me, I would have to attribute my lived experiences with mental health to be the vital element that will assist me in my role as an IRIS Consultant. Additionally, years of doing volunteer work for individuals within my community that also face mental health challenges have also prepared me to be a valuable resource and asset as an IRIS Consultant.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
My motto is “try something new” so in my free time I enjoy doing all things crafty like crochet, acrylic paint, sewing, jewelry making, and working with paper. I also like shopping and spending time with my dog going for walks along the lakefront. To stay active, I roller skate as much as possible and am loving life by exploring all of the fun things I can do with wheels on my feet.
