Listening and getting to know someone is important to me. I want to understand what your goals in life are and help you build a plan to make them happen.
What's your favorite thing about being an IRIS consultant?
I like that IRIS gives the people enrolled in the program control by allowing them to choose how their budget is spent. I want to help people feel empowered to make decisions that let them lead full and meaningful lives.
What past experience prepared you to become an IRIS Consultant?
My past experience includes working for two years as a care manager for Family Care in Dane County, where I served people with disabilities and older adults. I have seven years of experience, including case management, and working for a vocational agency (I have a passion for employment). I have also provided direct support to individuals with physical and developmental disabilities, as well as older adults. My experiences in providing case management and direct service in Dane County make me well suited to be your IRIS Consultant.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
I enjoy spending time with my family, friends and my pets. I'm a foodie and like to cook and experiment with new recipes. I enjoy getting outside for walks or hikes in the woods.
