More About Me

How do you Partner with people to 'clear the path ahead'?
Partnering to me means to first get to know you and build rapport by learning about your likes, dislikes, and preferences as an individual. I have a firm belief that each person is their own individual and no two people have the same goals, which is why it is very important for me to build a safe and supportive relationship with each participant that I work with. I actively listen to the small details in order to aid you in your big goals.

What's your favorite thing about being an IRIS consultant?
My favorite part about being a TMG IRIS Consultant is being able to assist and observe individuals flourish and achieve their goals and continue to remain as independent as possible. Being able to help guide participants to achieve their goals makes my position as an IRIS Consultant such fulfilling work.

What past experience prepared you to become an IRIS Consultant?
I have worked in the healthcare field for over half of my life. Starting as a CNA in a nursing home at the age of 16, I quickly found interest in advocating for others  and their rights. Over the past 15+ years, I have surrounding myself with a wealth of professional experience at many walks of life from ages 18-100+. My prior healthcare and advocacy experiences have aided me in gaining a high level of empathy, no matter the situation, that I utilize every day in my work and personal life.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
I enjoy spending time with my family outdoors in nature, when possible. I also enjoy attending live concerts, with my favorite music genre being country music. About 8 months ago, I self-taught myself how to crochet and continue to enjoy this creative hobby!
