This has given me extensive experience with aging adults as well as those with physical and cognitive disabilities.

How do you Partner with people to 'clear the path ahead'?
I feel it is very important to see you as an individual and recognize what your goals are. Once those goals are identified, we work together to start building a plan so that your goals can be achieved by utilizing services and supports that are available.
What's your favorite thing about being an IRIS consultant?
My favorite thing about being an IRIS Consultant is seeing someone achieve goals set for themselves and watching the growth, independence, and joy it brings to that person along the way.
What past experience prepared you to become an IRIS Consultant?
Ever since I can remember I have wanted to help others. Working as a caregiver over the years I have been able to find ways to connect with others, to asses needs, and to problem solve situations. I have leaned to take the time to listen and find what is truly important to that individual to help make a difference in the care someone would receive.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
I enjoy spending time with my family, taking trips within Wisconsin to go camping, fishing, and hiking. I also like curling up and reading a good book, I could get lost for hours!
