How do you Partner with people to 'clear the path ahead'?
I would say to form a great partnership with someone new I would need to form a personal relationship with them by getting to know them and be authentic as possible. Once that trust is established, I would be able to identity the supports and services that would be most beneficial to the new participant. Once that is captured, I would then partner with them to help secure and meet their goals.
What's your favorite thing about being an IRIS consultant?
My favorite part about being a TMG IRIS Consultant is being able to be a pillar and the assist people with remaining independent. It's rewarding for people to take back their independence.
What past experience prepared you to become an IRIS Consultant?
Working in youth development helped me understand how to be involved with the community I serve. Also, I learned how to connect with the community resources that where available and how to access them.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, watching or participating in sports, creating crafts, decorating balloon arrangements, playing games, and dancing.
