How do you Partner with people to 'clear the path ahead'?
The most important way to partner with someone in the IRIS Program is to meet them where they are and listen. Taking time to hear a person's story is crucial to identifying potential barriers and empowering them to reach their unique goals.
What's your favorite thing about being an IRIS consultant?
My favorite part about being an IRIS Consultant is building relationships. It is so rewarding to learn and grow with people and be part of their journey to live their best life.
What past experience prepared you to become an IRIS Consultant?
I was raised by my amazing grandparents, and throughout my life they helped instill a sense of compassion and understanding for all people. This enables me to connect with people in a unique way and develop a trusting relationship. My experience as an educator also helped develop skills to learn about and partner with families from a variety of soci-economic backgrounds and cultures.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family/friends and traveling.
