More About Me
How do you Partner with people to 'clear the path ahead'?
When partnering with new participants, my approach is person-centered and focused on building trust, understanding their unique needs, and empowering them to take charge of their goals. I begin by actively listening and developing an in-depth understanding of their strengths, challenges, and priorities. We create a plan aligning with their values and aspirations while supporting their health, safety, and independence. I collaborate closely with participants to identify and connect them with community resources and services tailored to their goals. Through regular communication and check-ins, I ensure they feel supported and address any barriers or concerns. My role is to guide, advocate, and empower participants, giving them the tools and confidence to make informed decisions and successfully navigate their journey toward achieving their goals.
What's your favorite thing about being an IRIS consultant?

The opportunity to develop meaningful relationships, celebrate their successes, and see their confidence and independence grow makes this role deeply rewarding.
What past experience prepared you to become an IRIS Consultant?
My background in healthcare, case management, and client-centered roles has thoroughly prepared me for my role as an IRIS Consultant. As a Family Services Coordinator, I worked closely with families to assess needs, create individualized plans, and connect them with vital resources, enhancing my care coordination and advocacy skills. Hands-on roles as a Student Respiratory Therapist and Cardiothoracic ICU Nursing Assistant taught me to provide empathetic, detail-oriented support, even in high-pressure situations. What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
In my free time, I enjoy staying active and being outdoors, whether playing tennis, biking, or relaxing by the lake. I am passionate about learning, personal growth, and helping others, so I dedicate time to studying for my master's in nursing. I also love hanging out with friends and family, traveling, and exploring new local restaurants or events. These activities help me recharge and focus on my personal and professional goals.
