More About Me

How do you Partner with people to 'clear the path ahead'?
I greatly believe in focusing on you as a whole person. This includes taking all other areas of your life as well as the different things that you and your family may have going on at any given time, into consideration. Once I have a thorough understanding of your needs and hopes, we create a very strategic and personalized action plan together in which you feel would best support you. Partnering is a team effort and I am committed to implementing this concept to ensure you are receiving the supports you need in order to meet your goals.

What's your favorite thing about being an IRIS consultant?
My favorite thing about being an IRIS Consultant is having the ability to be agile in order to assist you with meeting your needs. It is an amazing opportunity to witness people reaching their goals and to see all of the other progress that they have made along the way. I also enjoy being able to meet with you and your families in your home as this allows me to see you in your own environment and furthers my understanding of how I can assist you with meeting your goals.

What past experience prepared you to become an IRIS Consultant?
Although my schooling has given me extensive background regarding ethics, disabilities, policy and family dynamics, I would say that it has been my field experience that has really prepared me for becoming an IRIS Consultant. Through my experience as Job Developer and a Certified Nursing Assistant, I was able to see first hand how disabilities and policies affect family dynamics and therefore, how to more effectively and efficient assist those in need.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
In my free time I enjoy refinishing and/or repurposing antique furniture. I also love to tend to my vegetable garden, read, kayak and get outside as much as possible. My family and friends are very important to me as well, and any activity with them included is always appreciated and enjoyed.
