I have had over ten years of experience as a special education teacher with experience with students with learning disabilities, emotional and behavioral disabilities, intellectual disabilities, and autism. Many of those years were also spent working in a medical center, providing education for children with long-term care needs. I have also spent many years in the field completing professional development in the area of cortical vision impairments.

How do you Partner with people to 'clear the path ahead'? 
I am an easy-going person who loves to help people, and I make it my goal to be a receptive partner to you. I have many personal experiences that helps me relate to people. I am also a go-getter and will do anything to help my clients out.

What's your favorite thing about being an IRIS consultant? 
I love helping people - that has been a passion of mine since I was little. My specialty has always been and continues to be learning how to help people with disabilities. This is what makes being a TMG IRIS Consultant so rewarding for me.

What past experience prepared you to become an IRIS Consultant? 
Before becoming a TMG IRIS Consultant, I worked for the Wisconsin Children’s Long-Term Support (CLTS) Waiver Program, where I coordinated services for youth. I have also worked as a personal care worker for young adults. I also have a little sister with special needs, and I was her personal home care worker.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time? 
In my free time I am a mother of two little boys who keep me busy with Cub Scouts and Taekwondo. I also love cooking for people, entertaining and volunteering. I belong to a local grow group through church. I also enjoy watching my sister play basketball for the Special Olympics and volunteering.
