How do you Partner with people to 'clear the path ahead'?
When partnering with someone I first like to get to know what they like and dislike. Identifying the resources available to them and finding out what goals they have for the future. I enjoy helping people accomplish their goals and use the IRIS program to its fullest potential.
What's your favorite thing about being an IRIS consultant?
Partnering with someone to accomplish goals and seeing things through is what I like the most about being an IRIS consultant.
What past experience prepared you to become an IRIS Consultant?
I have worked as a social worker for close to seven years. During that time, I have collaborated with social service programs to provide services to a diverse group of individuals. Using resources at hand and my experience we navigated through the red tape to provide the best care to those in need and clarification to sometimes confusing program guidelines.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
In my free time I spend a lot of time with my family, we enjoy hiking and traveling. I also like to read graphic novels and enjoy good movies.
