How do you Partner with people to 'clear the path ahead'?
Partnering is to learning about client's history and goals, then create an action plan that the client/guardian is comfortable with the objective if for client to achieve goals regardless of the pace. We will work on identifying services or supports that you are in need of and what is available now. This will allow you to maximize your IRIS budget. While keeping the resources you need in place to obtain your goal.
What's your favorite thing about being an IRIS consultant?
I’m a big believer in self-directed care, because I believe no can advocate for you like you can. I enjoy working with people and helping obtain their goals. Which clients discover who they are and that they can achieve whatever they set their minds to.
What past experience prepared you to become an IRIS Consultant?
I have had experience working the following programs: Community Support Program, Family Care, Children's Long Term Support and Wrap around. These job have prepared me to become an Iris consultant.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
In my free time I volunteer, parent and shop.
