I build trust, ask questions about the likes and dislikes, what would they like to gain from me and how I can better assist them in their journey. Do the prefer for me to send schedule reminders, should I call before a visit, what does the family like to do for fun and the best way to communicate. How can I be of better value to them and/or of service. What changes if any would they like to see take place.
What's your favorite thing about being an IRIS consultant?
Engaging with the participants and learning more about their lives, building healthy relationships.
What past experience prepared you to become an IRIS Consultant?
Meeting people where they are has been the best approach.
